28°-50° Wine Workshop and Kitchen Chelsea brings the magic of the group’s esteemed French and modern European cuisine and wine to SW3 offering simple, seasonal dishes and an award-winning wine collection. Situated on the iconic King’s Road in a late Victorian bank, we’re known for our exceptional service and relaxed atmosphere.
The A La Carte menu is overseen by Executive Chef, Julien Baris, offering something for every occasion with light bites, impressive charcuterie and cheese selections, seafood, vegetarian dishes and the obligatory grill section. At 28°-50°, the food is always fresh with wine from affordable and quaffable to high-end even more quaffable. Our in-house team of passionate and knowledgeable sommeliers hand-pick the wine list, available by the glass, carafe and bottle.
The exceptional wine list will also feature 28°-50°’s unique ‘Collectors’ List’ of fine wines from several private collections, meaning you can try unusual and mature grapes, some of which are rarely seen in London restaurants. Our in-house sommeliers are always on hand to help you find the perfect pairing.
Take a seat at the bar, on the private terrace or in our bright and airy central dining room, which blends the original features of its Victorian past with the 28°-50° signature trademarks of oak and marble tables, dark velvets and wine crate displays. If you look carefully at the monochrome pictures on walls, you’ll spot members of the 28°-50° team harvesting the grapes from our very own vineyard in the French Alps, a chateau also available on our wine list.
The Oak Room, deriving its name from the oak panelled interiors, is a private dining room that opens up onto a small courtyard, perfect for corporate events and celebrations.
